The book contains nine sections introducing various kinds and different functions of aircrafts to children and explaining the flying experience in its historical perspective. The first attempts to fly; the balloons, the first airplanes, the Zeppelin, passenger airplanes, helicopters, gliders, jets and of course space vehicles! The creatures which are the source of inspiration for aircrafts and the heroes identified with them add humour to the drawings.
