Füsun Çetinel

Füsun Çetinel was born in İstanbul. She was graduated from English Language Teaching Department of Boğaziçi University. She works as an instructor and facilitator in writing workshops in Turkey and abroad. Her stories and articles are being published in various literary magazines and online platforms. Her first children’s novel Talking Hagia Sophia (Ayasofya Konuştu, 2015) tells about a boy who witnessed to secrets of Hagia Sophia in İstanbul. Her second children’s novel Road of Secrets (Sırlar Yolu, 2016)  is a story written with a widely perspective from Germany to Turkey’s southern Agean coast and Kaş which is a very famous place with its ancient stone tombs. Her young adult novel Three Weeks on the Wall (Duvarda 3 Hafta, 2017) is a growth story beyond borders. Her loving and owning animals themed children’s novel Chiko’s Choice (Çiko’nun Seçimi) was published in 2018. And Çetinel’s latest children’s novel Tiny Green Stink Bug (Küçük Pis Yeşil Böcek, 2019) tells a story about a little boy who came to a big city from a village. Çetinel lives with her husband in İstanbul and sometimes in Antalya; she has a daughter.
